On your side, I would recommend that you first (if you haven’t already) get VPN working without any of the google authenticator options enabled. So just use a username and password for testing. If you can confirm you have that working first and can register a new user in that manner than that is a great start. This was build mainly for personal use but then published :) We were using sophos VPN which when MFA enabled ask for a password in the format ( passwordOPT ) which is VPN passwword has to be concatenated with the OTP. A bit weird but it was the only option. I want to use Google Authenticator to add 2FA for remote access users when they connect with Check Point Mobile for Windows VPN client.
